2. You will shortly receive details about tutors who teach your required
subject(s) and are local.
This will probably be by Email or in the post
if you don't provide an Email address.
At the same time these tutors will receive the
contact information you provided.
3. Then, you can contact either one, or all of the tutors made known
to you, to talk about your
needs in greater detail.
During this time, one or more of the known tutors
may contact you to discuss your
requirements.
4. Following your conversation with a tutor or tutors, a mutually
convenient time and place can
be arranged to start tuition.
Tuition may be arranged to take place either
in your home or the tutors, depending on
circumstances.
You should expect to provide paper, pens and pencils for the lessons. Any additional material, if required, will be made known to you by your tutor.
You will more than likely be happy with your chosen tutor. If, in the unlikely case you are not, you need only inform the tutor, giving them at least 24 hours notice, that tuition is no longer required with them. You may then appoint a different tutor to provide tuition if you wish.
The amount of tuition can be arranged as required, but most tutors will organize their schedule on the basis of at least one hour a week with a particular student, but these matters can be discussed when you talk to your tutor.
In booking tuition you are not committed for any period of time. You may want a few weeks, a few months or a few years.
You should only give at least 24 hours notice to the tutor, should you wish to terminate tuition with them.
Payment should be made to the tutor at the end of each lesson by
cash or cheque.
